Landon's Baptism

I had the honor of traveling to Milwaukee last weekend to become the Godmother of my college friend, Ralph and his wife, Cassie's, baby boy, Landon.  Little Landon is 4 months old and is just as cute as can be!  It was a wonderful weekend catching up with Ralph, getting to know Cassie better, and meeting Landon and the rest of his extended family.  The baptism was really well done and was a very special event to be playing a part in.  Thanks again, Stewarts, for the exceptional weekend!

Nevada Winter Landscapes

Last week I was on a 2-day field trip to just outside Eureka, NV (just east of central Nevada).  It was bright and sunny, but colder than cold!  It never got above freezing the entire time I was there.  These pictures were all taken with my phone and mostly out the dirty windshield of my truck, but gives a feel for the scenary I was seeing, nonetheless.

Jax's First Snowboarding Experience

Over the holidays we went up to Heavenly Ski Resort with some friends with small kids learning how to snowboard.  Justin got Jax his own goggles and a little snowboard for Christmas, so he was all geared up.  Jax was quite overwhelmed by all the people at the resort flying around on strange things and he has a long way to go, but I think we've started early enough!

Christmas in Las Vegas

Here's the pictoral show of our Las Vegas Christmas.  We got to see lots of family!  Jax did well despite being away from home and being off his schedule.  He and cousin Jayden became fast friends and were super cute playing together.  We took a road trip down to Sandy Valley to visit Deb, Ken, Kelly and Christie Cameron, but my only regret is that we didn't get a picture of any of them!  It was great to see the Camerons, their beautiful new house, and a new valley in Nevada.
