Like Dad

I was pulling laundry out of the dryer the other night and had to take a picture of this...it was just too cute.

Hooky @ Tahoe

Last Wednesday we all played hooky from work and school and spent the day visiting with our friends Rich & Sarah and family at the Tahoe cabin they were renting along with Rich's brother's family.

I never realized how much fun a day in the middle of the week could be! It was a great family day. The Dad's had a great obstacle course set up using the paddleboards that had all the kids on the beach wanting to play with us.

Backyard Staining

Justin spent an entire weekend staining in the backyard. Our deck & fence now look awesome!

Jax & Ishaan

Last weekend was Ishaan's 1st birthday, who is the son of Justin's colleague, Reshe. We got to meet the whole family and it was such fun to watch these two boys play together...or at least next to each other. Hopefully we can get them together again soon to play.

Jax by Day & Night

Jax can't seem to get up on his knees during the day, but has no problems at night!

Out to Dinner

It's been pretty fun having the ability to throw Jax in the bike trailer and ride downtown for dinner. Within the last week we started letting him ride in the trailer without his carseat...he seems to like it! I think he can see much more than when he was tipped backward in the carseat. The evenings are already starting to cool down, so a little fleece and a blankie are a must for the ride home. And yes, those are chicken and watermelon pieces he's eating!

Hanging at Home

Just a few random pictures & videos of Jax around the house over the last week or so. Jax has mostly learned how to pull up to the standing position, but only when he really really wants to. Otherwise, if you stand him up he will hold on to anything and bounce around for a long time.

I pulled this canvas out for Jax to play on. Justin thinks it was Grandma Collen that helped him make "Justin City". Pretty cool. Notice Huntington Jewelers & the perfect replica of Grandma Collen & Papa Jack's house.

And my first bit of child-proofing the house...
