Yup, I can be a nerd too.

Last weekend was the annual Street Vibrations event in our area. Thousands of motorcycles come to town for this every year and Jax was absolutely thrilled to see each and every one of them. Justin and some friends joined in the festivities on Saturday up in Virgina City and Jax was stoked to help him polish up the shovelhead before he left.

Varoom Varoom!

Just like his Daddy, Jax is obsessed with anything on wheels. Is it possible that's genetic? I recently gave into him at the grocery store and was the Mom pushing the mini shopping cart around with the giant plastic car on the front. He. Loved. Every. Minute. It was really really cute! He turned the steering wheel, honked the horn and said "varoom varoom" whenever anyone would walk by. Super cute. But..........extracting him from the said car was quite an ordeal. You'd have thought I was delivering the worst punishment ever! Which makes me wonder if it's worth trying the car again--but he like it SO much!

Mimi & Pappy's visit, part 2

The last pictures of when Mimi and Pappy where here. The last few shots, plus the video, show the early birthday present they got for Jax. Talk about one excited kid! And it still blows my mind the first thing he thought of when we saw the bike...he's a smart cookie!
