Gotta love those 3-day weekends!! After the caucusing, we took advantage of the time at home to get some stuff done. The house really is coming along. It looks leaps and bounds better than before Christmas. In the last few weeks we stained/painted trim and installed it, rearranged the living room, got new curtains (red!!) for the living room, put that grippy stuff on the cabinet shelves and drawers, got some rugs, organized & cleaned a bunch in the house and Justin did tons of that in the garage too. I've love to show you some pictures, but the download cord for my camera is officially gone. Not to worry though, I ordered a new one from eBay and it shipped today. So in 4-14 days, I'll have it. :o) I also joined a new gym this weekend. It's called Eagle Fitness and they offer a bunch of instructor lead classes. These are the things that will keep me going to the gym. I went to my first class yesterday called Power Pump. Total body workout with weight lifting. Kicked my butt, but I enjoyed it! And it was even better because afterward, we got invited to our friend's house to sit in their hot tube...while it was snowing! Now if I could just go over there after every fitness class...
Wow, look at this!! A post on a weekend, this may be a first!! Woohoo, we have the internet at home now! It's so nice. Another first for today was Justin and I participated in our 1st caucus! Nevada has been politically charged this last week with presidential candidates swarming all over. It was an interesting event...I must say I didn't know much about caucusing before these last few months. Now I can say I participated in one. Very elementary...all those for Hillary, stand in this corner, those for Obama over here and now we are going to count you all up. hehehehe. Anyway, happy caucusing!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been pretty busy and was down in Vegas for most of this week for a NAWQA meeting. Just need to finish out this work week and get the causus thing done tomorrow and then I can focus on things that need to get done. I would have posted some pictures today, I can't find the download cord for my camera....it's around the house somewhere!
Or at least afternoon! Our office is closing today at 2pm because of the nasty weather conditions. Wind gusts up to 65 mph, steady down pouring that will change to snow any time now...and the ice. Blah. But, it's an early start to a weekend to be spent indoors! Oh, the snowboarding that will follow though!
