Thursday evening was Thanksgiving dinner at Justin's parents house. Both Justin's brothers, Trevor and Brandon and their families came over. It was a really nice time with wonderful food.

Thanksgiving college volleyball championships

Last week Justin, Willy and I traveled down to Las Vegas to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with Justin's family. Wednesday night was dinner with the Huntington side of the family at Justin's Aunt Linda and Uncle Alan's house. I got to met many of his aunt, uncles and cousins that I had never met before. Justin's cousin, Amy, is the starting setter on the BYU women's volleyball team and they just happen to be at UNLV for the conference championships. We went to watch her play in the quarter-finals on Thanksgiving day and the semi-finals on Friday. BYU unfortunately lost on a horrible call to UNLV.

L: Amy serving the ball C: And Amy goes in for the set R: Amy's sister, Allie, shows off the sign for Amy (their last name being Schlauder...just in case you didn't get that)

Grandma Cypher

Some of the family may have already seen this, but I just had to post it. My Mom scanned a high school graduation picture of her mother, my grandmother, and sent it out in memorial of her birthday. Grandma, Helen Grace, would have been 80 years old on 11/15/07. Happy Birthday, Grandma!!

Mexican Ditch

2 weekends ago...yes I know I'm behind on my blogging, Justin, Willy and I took at bike ride down along the Carson River. Beautifully warm day, and a few fall colors still around. We rode back to a small dam on the river that starts the diversion for the Mexican Ditch. It was originally used for mills on the river, now is used for agriculture.
Willy had fun!

We take a pit-stop along the river. And we found some donkeys on the way back!

New Nephew!!

Today my second nephew arrived into the outside world. Welcome Joel Lewis! :o) The only pictures I have are on my phone, so you'll have to wait until Rob and Melissa post some. Joel and Melissa are well...and so are Rob and Luke, as far as I know! I'll save all the rest of the good details for the happy parents to share.

Las Vegas trip

Last weekend Justin and I drove down to Vegas to visit Justin's family and attend the drag races. We left fairly early on Friday and got down there by about 2pm. That evening he and I went down to the Strip to check things out....man what good people watching there is down there!! We walked around Caesar's Palace and rode the loop-da-loop roller coaster at NewYork NewYork. I always wanted to see the Coyote Ugly bar, so we walked there, but the line to get in was incredible and some girl puked all over her friends just outside the door, so.......yeah, we ventured on.

Saturday we visited Justin's Grandparents and I purchased a few Christmas gifts. Yup, I'm already buying. Funny how I've turned into that person that does the shopping early. My Grandma always said she liked to get the shopping done before the snow flies! hehehe Anyway, we went out with a few of Justin's friends Saturday night.

We had dinner at the Crown and Anchor and then played a few games of darts. Kelly is really into darts, so we got to use his own really nice darts. And Justin and I beat their butts both games! Sara avoided the camera all night....on the right is the best I got!

A really decent cover band was playing, so Kelly lead me around the flow a few times. We went to the New Orleans afterward, where Kelly attempted to teach Justin and I how to play craps...to no avail. And then there was the drag races.
