Message
It's been such a crazy week that I feel like my head is spinning.
So God sent me a beautiful rainbow tonight to let me know everything is going to be alright. It only lasted a few minutes...just like it was just for me to see.

Father's Day Harley camping
Last weekend we took a Father's Day camping trip on the Harley just outside of Dorrington, CA. It was a lot of fun camping with some friends Adam, Angela and son Jacob along with Justin's friend Thomas and his family from Monetary, CA. We looked rather like the Griswold's on the Harley, but we did it! Saturday we took a ride to Murphys, CA. Now this is a sweet little town. Shops, restaurants with outdoor patios, 10-15 wine tasting rooms, ice cream shops....very cool. Then on Sunday before returning home we took a walking tour through Calaveras Big Tree State Park. This is a huge Giant Sequoia grove. Very fun.

Shaylee's snuffle
Most kids had a baby blanket made for them at some point. Both my brother and I had one. Mine was white and my Grandma Cypher made it for me. That blanket was my most favorite thing in the world! Apparently I gave it a name when I was quite young because I don't remember ever calling my blankie anything other than my "snuffle".
:o)
I've made snuffles for my nephews and Goddaughter. This spring my project was a snuffle for my friend Mandee's daughter, Shaylee. Although miss Shaylee was born in March she only got her snuffle a few weeks ago. Doh! But, nonetheless, here it is before I shipped it.

Ashland
After Krista's wedding, Justin & I drove 4 hours northeast to Ashland, WI--home to Northland College, my undergraduate college. Justin thought the area was similar to Pennsylvania, just less "hilly". Well and also for the ginormous lake--Lake Superior. We walked all over campus, toured through the buildings (not that many of them) and caught up with the soccer coach I worked for and also my academic advisor.
We also got to visit with my good friend Ralph and his wife, Cassie. And we had fun with their 2 dogs, Izzy & Rocko!
